Jason Song, MD, PhD

Jason Song, MD, PhD, is an experienced interventional pain management specialist and the founder of Palm Tree Interventional Pain Management in St. Cloud, and Kissimmee, Florida.

Dr. Song started his training at Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, where he earned his medical degree and a doctorate in stem cell biology. He went on to pursue an internship in general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a world-class teaching hospital operated by Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Then, Dr. Song finished his surgical residency at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. After returning to Philadelphia, Dr. Song completed a research fellowship from the National Institutes of Health at the University of Pennsylvania. While there, he also pursued his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

In addition to all of this training, Dr. Song also finished a fellowship with Mid Atlantic Spine Pain Physicians at Temple University Medical School.

As the founder and medical director of Palm Tree Interventional Pain Management, Dr. Song brings a fresh and invigorating perspective for men and women who are eager to eliminate pain.

With his unique background in research and clinical treatment from distinguished, world-renowned programs, Dr. Song draws from a variety of disciplines to develop personalized treatment strategies for each patient he sees. It’s Dr. Song’s mission to treat everyone with compassion and empathy.

“My daily decisions, with regards to patient care, are guided by considering the type of care I would want for my mom when she is in pain,” he says.

In addition to his practice, Dr. Song maintains his personal commitment to education, attending numerous classes, lectures, and conferences on the practice of pain management and emerging technology and treatments. He has also authored numerous medical articles and book chapters focused on spinal disorders and pain management.

Further, Dr. Song is an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and is on staff at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center near Orlando, Florida.
