What is it?

Pain is experienced by every individual due to various reasons. It can be mild to severe, occasional or constant. Chronic pain is pain which lasts for longer than a month even after recovery from an injury. This pain remains constant and may cause hindrance in your daily activities. 

Pain management is the treatment of your pain and can include various methods and techniques based on s factors such as the cause, history, intensity and duration and the location of the pain. Treatment can be directed at directly relieving pain or managing the underlying condition that is causing the pain.

Pain management may include medications, interventional procedures, alternative therapies such as acupuncture, and physical therapy and/or psychological counseling that help you cope with the pain.
